Babiyachour: The project is located at Babiyachour Municipality in Surkhet district in mid-western development region. The services area of the project covers ward no. 2,3,4,5 of Babiyachour. The total household in the project area is 1,015 and 5,561 population. The project consists of 2 # of ground based RCC reservoirs 200 and 160 cum, Slow and filter, office building, guard house, 58.612 km pipe length, 2 public toilets etc.
The project has been implemented with WUSC 5% and TDF 25% loan & GoN 70% to the water supply component under ADB loan. The Project is based on Community participation and COST RECOVERY PRINCIPAL.
